An Ode to Exercise Goals

Exercise!


Oh the things that could be said about exercise.

It’s good for your heart. It’s good for you mood. It’s good for your sleep.

And on and on.

We kNoW it’s good. We KnOw we need to do it more.

But we stall.


We say I’ll start tomorrow, or I’ll start the first of the month.

And maybe we start. But we fall off.


Then we forget about it.


And the cycle starts again.


The cycle spirals. But the cycle is not a failure. You are not a failure!


Exercise is a habit - a way of life!

And that is not built overnight!

Habits take work and discipline and accountability.

It takes the right goals and the right planning.
